Grade 5 & 6 Numeracy

Nesrin Gocmen

Dear parents and Guardians

We have been very busy in our homegroup with the Grade 6A students. During the last week of Term One students were engaged in cooking. Students made Muesli bars of their choice and it was a great opportunity for us to experience this. Through the cooking experience we looked at measuring and estimating.

During the last weeks of Term One we also had a day excursion/camp to the Enchanted maze. Students and myself were very busy with the tree surfing activity. It was definitely a challenge for me as height is not my strongest area. We also went on tube slides and in and out of mazes. It was a great day for all and can't wait for our next adventure as a grade.
